Racing Bulls have been slapped with a fine after an unsafe release for Isack Hadjar into Max Verstappen in Chinese Grand Prix qualifying. 

As the field prepared for their second flying laps in Q3, Verstappen was making his way down the pit-lane, as Racing Bulls released Hadjar from the garage, cutting across the path of the world champion.

Yuki Tsunoda sends Red Bull “100%” message after Liam Lawson struggle

Yuki Tsunoda says he is “100%” ready to step into the Red Bull from as soon as the Japanese Grand Prix, as Liam Lawson struggles to get up to speed.

Following a Q1 elimination and crash out of the Australian GP, Lawson qualified slowest on merit for both the Sprint and main grand prix in China having been handed promotion from Racing Bulls ahead of Tsunoda.

Marko refuses to rule out a new team-mate for Verstappen – ‘We will analyse it’

Helmut Marko has refused to rule out a new team-mate for Max Verstappen following Liam Lawson’s disastrous start to his Red Bull career.

Red Bull dropped Sergio Perez at the end of last season after the Mexican effectively cost the team the defence of its constructors’ championship following an abysmal haul of just 49 points over the final 18 races.

Hamilton reveals Ferrari masterplan to win Chinese GP

Lewis Hamilton has revealed he is plotting a “masterplan” to win the Chinese Grand Prix for Ferrari, following his Sprint victory.

Hamilton chalked up his first ever Sprint win on Saturday morning in Shanghai, which was also Ferrari’s maiden victroy in the format, with the Briton then going on to qualify for the main race in fifth place.

McLaren haul Norris from ‘nowhere’ to offer Chinese GP hope

Lando Norris claims he came from “nowhere” to offer himself hope of back-to-back grand prix victories to start the new F1 season.

Following a comprehensive performance in the season-opening race in Australia a week ago, in which Norris scored the grand chelem of pole, fastest lap, and leading every lap en route to victory, the British driver has been out of sorts with his car in China.

Leclerc hands Ferrari conclusive evidence over gap to McLaren

Charles Leclerc believes qualifying for the Chinese Grand Prix underlined the ground Ferrari still has to make up on McLaren despite an apparent overall improvement in performance.

Leclerc will start sixth on the grid at the Shanghai International Circuit, behind team-mate Lewis Hamilton one place ahead of him, but notably 0.380s behind debut polesitter Oscar Piastri in his McLaren.
