A new weekly Autosport National newsletter and podcast is being launched to provide a dedicated spotlight on the diverse range of motorsport held in the UK.

The new offerings are designed to underline Autosport’s continued commitment to club motorsport and will sit alongside an increased amount of online coverage and a specific section within the monthly print magazine focused on national action.

The email newsletter will be produced each Thursday and will highlight some of the latest national news stories, reports, features and opinion pieces available on Autosport.com as well as outlining some of the other headlines and announcements from within the UK scene over the past week.

There will also be a section detailing upcoming events and, once the circuit racing season is well under way, the newsletter will provide the latest updates about the Ryan Motorsport Insurance Autosport Driver Rankings.

Another key element of the newsletter will be the latest edition of the Autosport National Podcast.

New episodes will be released each week and feature discussion of the most significant stories as well as overviews of some of the biggest events and interviews with drivers and key national motorsport figures.

The first podcast is now available and includes further detail about Autosport’s national coverage plans for the year as well as a focus on national rallying.

Autosport’s Chief Editor Kevin Turner is joined by Paul Lawrence to discuss last weekend’s British Historic Rally Championship opener and the recent bad weather that has forced a swathe of events to be cancelled.
