After multiple weeks on the road, the octagon returns to the UFC Apex in Las Vegas on Saturday with UFC on ESPN 65.

In the main event, ranked featherweights clash when Josh Emmett (19-4 MMA, 10-4 UFC) takes on the undefeated Lerone Murphy (15-0-1 MMA, 7-0-1 UFC) in a matchup scheduled for five rounds.

Emmett is the only fighter in UFC history to land four knockdowns in a single round. He accomplished the feat against Arantes at UFC Fight Night 118.

Murphy’s seven-fight UFC winning streak at featherweight is the second-longest active streak in the division behind Evloev (eight).

Murphy completes 54.6 percent of his takedown attempts in UFC featherweight competition, the second-highest rate among active fighters in the weight class behind Ricardo Ramos (55.2 percent).

Kennedy Nzechukwu (14-5 MMA, 8-5 UFC) is 2-0 since he moved up to the heavyweight division in October.

Nzechukwu earned a knockout at UFC 259 despite a -64 deficit in significant strikes landed, the biggest statistical comeback for a light heavyweight bout and third overall in UFC history.

Martin Buday (14-2 MMA, 5-1 UFC) has earned four of his five UFC victories by decision.

Meerschaert’s 11 submission victories in UFC competition are tied with Demian Maia for the third-most in company history behind Charles Oliveira (16) and Jim Miller (12).

Davey Grant (15-7 MMA, 7-6 UFC) is one of four fighters in UFC history to earn a submission by inverted triangle choke. Cole Miller, Olivier Aubin-Mercier and Jordan Leavitt also accomplished the feat.

Rhys McKee vs. Daniel Frunza

Rhys McKee (13-6-1 MMA, 0-4 UFC) is 0-2 since he returned to the UFC for a second stint in September 2023.

Lookboonmee lands 57.7 percent of her significant strike attempts in UFC strawweight competition, the second-best rate in divisional history behind Tatiana Suarez (61.2 percent).

Istela Nunes’ (6-5 MMA, 0-4 UFC) four-fight losing skid is the longest of her career. She hasn’t earned a victory since July 2018.

Nunes is 1-5 in her past six fights dating back to May 2017.
