The new F1 season is finally here!

Following the three days of pre-season testing last month in Bahrain, the teams have travelled to Melbourne for the first round of the season.

The Australian Grand Prix, a traditional early-season event, kickstarts the new F1 campaign for the first time since 2019.

Lewis Hamilton will take part in his first practice session for Ferrari while elsewhere on the grid, there are many drivers enduring their first race weekend sessions with new teams – including Kimi Antonelli at Mercedes and Liam Lawson at Red Bull.

The season ahead is predicted to be a close affair – so will FP1 offer an insight into who holds the advantage?
