The Haas F1 team is present at the Silverstone Circuit today, where it is carrying out its first shakedown of the VF-25.

The upcoming campaign is Haas’ 10th in F1 as it looks to enjoy another positive campaign on the back of 2024.

Haas scored 58 points throughout last season to end the championship in seventh place – its highest result since 2018.

For the new year, the American team has entered a completely revised driver line-up.

It has brought in race winner Esteban Ocon from Alpine and paired the Frenchman with rookie Oliver Bearman.

Bearman already has two grand prix starts with Haas under his belt after substituting for Kevin Magnussen in Azerbaijan and Brazil last year.

The shakedown is being held behind closed doors at Silverstone, where Ocon is believed to be driving the car.

Team principal Ayao Komatsu explained to select media including RacingNews365 last month why it had elected to have Ocon jump behind the wheel.

“We’re gonna have Esteban driving in Silverstone, because Esteban, in terms of driver installation is more challenging,” he said.

“We just want to make sure 100 per cent that installation is fine, so if we’ve got issues, we’ve got more time to react to it.”

Haas will be present at the O2 Arena in London on Tuesday, along with the other nine teams, where it will showcase its new livery for the year ahead.
