Helmut Marko sends Liam Lawson crucial Red Bull message
Red Bull motorsport advisor Helmut Marko has sent Liam Lawson a crucial message that the team “still has patience” for the New Zealander after his latest disappointment.
Lawson was eliminated in the first part of the sprint shootout ahead of the first sprint race of the season in China, and will start in last at the Shanghai International Circuit.

Williams F1 investigation delayed by Chinese GP stewards
Williams must wait until Saturday morning for an investigation into a potential breach of F1’s technical regulations to be completed at the Chinese Grand Prix.
Following Sprint qualifying, the team was referred to the stewards by FIA technical delegate Jo Bauer for not providing video files of the front and rear-wing cameras monitoring flexing within an hour at the end of FP1 – as the rules dictate.

Lando Norris has exposed a key McLaren weakness at the Chinese Grand Prix after an error cost the Briton sprint pole.
The McLaren driver will start the first sprint race of the 2025 F1 season from sixth on the grid, following a lock-up in the closing stages of his final lap.
