All 10 F1 teams passed tests on the flexibility of their rear wings at the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, but further changes have now followed.

The entire paddock cleared the so-called deflection tests and have therefore been deemed legal for the event at Albert Park.

Verstappen deals Red Bull huge blow

Max Verstappen has dealt Red Bull a huge blow after finishing second in the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, by revealing a key area McLaren is significantly stronger. 

The reigning world champion started from third at Albert Park but quickly got past Oscar Piastri on the opening lap, before settling behind Lando Norris.

Ferrari urged to ‘hold a conversation’ with ‘different animal’ Hamilton

Riccardo Adami has been urged to “hold a conversation” with Lewis Hamilton ahead of this weekend’s Chinese Grand Prix to ensure they avoid the radio communication issues that blighted the seven-time F1 champion’s debut with Ferrari.

After years of a hand-in-glove working relationship with Pete Bonnington at Mercedes, Hamilton’s switch to Ferrari has naturally resulted in a change of race engineer, with Adami now the voice in his ear over a grand prix weekend.

Alpine take responsibility for Doohan pressure in striking admission

Oliver Oakes has conceded Alpine is at fault for creating the “noise” surrounding embattled driver Jack Doohan, who is embarking on his debut F1 season under a cloud of speculation over his future.

The team principal of the Enstone squad does not believe it has put the Australian driver “in the best position” due to the near-constant rumours now engulfing his career in F1.

McLaren team principal Andrea Stella has explained why Max Verstappen came close to stealing an Australian Grand Prix victory from Lando Norris.

At the chequered flag of a chaotic race at Melbourne’s Albert Park, in which there were six crashes as the weather wreaked havoc on a slippery circuit, Verstappen finished 0.895s adrift of Norris.
