Formula 2 driver Christian Mansell has declared he will “never stop fighting” for causes close to his heart following a regulation clampdown from the FIA.
The FIA International Sporting Code outlines “making and display of political, religious and personal statements” is a breach of the regulations.
New sanctions introduced by the governing body detail the punishments that could follow such actions, with a third strike possibly resulting in a hefty fine, public apology, a one-month ban and a deduction in championship points.
Red Bull has already teased the FIA over the new sanctions with a bold post on social media.
Mansell, who will race for Rodin Motorsport in the upcoming F2 season, is known to publicly support members of the LGBTQ+ community.
The 19-year-old has been outspoken on social media in the past, voicing support for transgender people.
Mansell took to social media to assert his stance of not wavering in issuing support to such groups.
