Dirty Boxing is the brain child of former UFC fighter and BKFC standout Mike Perry. The concept is a blend of boxing and MMA with a smaller 18-foot ring and three three-minute rounds. All hand strikes are legal, including elbows, and fighters who score a knockdown are permitted to use follow-up ground strikes, but must remain on their feet while doing so. The promotion held a small premier event this past November where Yoel Romero knocked out Duane Crespo in the first round.
