Ferrari and Aston Martin must attend Japanese Grand Prix stewards for an alleged failure to follow to race director’s instructions at Suzuka.

The two teams must attend the stewards at 1715 local time for their drivers not adhering to race director’s Rui Marques’s pre-event notes regarding the use of the fast-lane in the pit-lane.

This is the normal running lane for cars, with Marques instructing drivers to blend into the lane when exiting their garages “at the earliest opportunity.”

However, Ferrari and Aston Martin drivers, believed to be Lewis Hamilton and Lance Stroll did not do this, instead moving down the inside slow lane to conduct practice starts, hence the summons to the stewards.
