Isack Hadjar suffered a slightly embarrassing moment at a Tokyo demo run on Wednesday.
As the build-up began for the Japanese Grand Prix weekend, the drivers from Red Bull and Racing Bulls took to the streets of the country’s capital to carry out a show event in front of fans.
The course in Tokyo featured a tricky hairpin corner that Hadjar struggled to navigate during his run.
On one occasion, the car rotated too early and hit the kerb which caused damage to the front wing.
It was not the start to the week Hadjar was hoping for – but thankfully for the Frenchman, there are no overhanging consequences from the minor collision.
Hadjar will take part in his third grand prix this weekend in Japan, joined by new Racing Bulls team-mate Liam Lawson.
Lawson has been sent back to the team following his struggles at Red Bull, while Yuki Tsunoda has received the call-up to partner Max Verstappen.
