The Stormers are working hard to retain captain Salmaan Moerat and hooker Joseph Dweba, with both Springboks reportedly drawing interest from English clubs.
“Both want to stay,” a source told Rapport and according to the news outlet, the Cape outfit plans to table offers for the pair soon.
However, it is understood that Moerat’s decision may be complicated by significant offers from several Premiership teams.

The 26-year-old lock has been a key figure at the Stormers since 2018, helping to win the inaugural Vodacom URC title before earning 10 Test caps and captaining the national side three times last year.
Moerat’s retention is aided by SA Rugby’s PONI (Players of National Interest) funding, helping the Stormers offer a competitive deal.
The six-Test Dweba no longer qualifies for this support, making it harder for the franchise to match his market value. Despite interest from Sale Sharks, it is believed that the 29-year-old has already rejected several overseas offers.
