Check out this week’s “Spinning Back Clique,” MMA Junkie’s weekly live show that takes a spin through the biggest topics in mixed martial arts.

This week’s panel of Brian “Goze” Garcia, Mike Bohn and Danny Segura will join host “Gorgeous” George Garcia live at noon ET (9 a.m. PT) to discuss and debate the following topics:

  • Dricus Du Plessis continues to prove he’s indeed the best middleweight on the planet. Despite being doubted in his rise, Du Plessis is now champion and with two title defenses under his belt. His latest championship win came Saturday in the main event of UFC 312, where he defeated Sean Strickland for a second time. We break down Du Plessis’ win and what may come next for his career.
  • The UFC strawweight belt was also up for grabs at UFC 312. Champion Zhang Weili completed her third consecutive title defense, defeating then undefeated contender Tatiana Suarez in the co-main event of the card. Should Weili move up to flyweight? What’s next for Suarez? We discuss.
  • This past week, the sport said farewell to one of the most decorated fighters to ever compete. Former UFC and WEC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz hung up the gloves after suffering an injury that forced him out of what was supposed to be his retirement fight against Rob Font at UFC Fight Night 252 on Feb. 22. We react to Cruz’s retirement, along with the impact and legacy he leaves behind.
  • The news cycle was quite busy this week. We go over some of the latest headlines in the sport including the booking between Brandon Moreno and Steve Erceg for UFC Mexico City, the final approval of the $375 million UFC antitrust settlement, Patchy Mix’ latest comments about PFL and much more.
  • Finally, we end the show with a preview for Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 251 in Las Vegas. We break down and analyze the main and co-main events: a middleweight bout between Jared Cannonier and Gregory Rodrigues, and a featherweight clash between Calvin Kattar and Youssef Zalal.
