Former F1 driver David Coulthard has voiced why Lewis Hamilton may have crashed during a private Ferrari test last week.

Hamilton is preparing for his first season with the Maranello-based outfit following his seismic switch from Mercedes.

Netflix linked to F1 broadcasting rights bid

Global streaming service Netflix is considering submitting a bid to acquire the rights to broadcast F1 in the United States.

F1 has enjoyed substantial growth in the US across the last several years with three races – Miami, Austin and Las Vegas – held annually, with current broadcast rights held by EPSN in a deal worth under $90 million per year.

Verstappen receives backing for ‘billion-pound’ Aston Martin move

F1 fans would like to see Max Verstappen move to Aston Martin in the future, according to the results of a RacingNews365 poll. 

The Dutchman is under contract at Red Bull until 2028, but Aston owner Lawrence Stroll is a keen admirer of the four-time world champion, and recently lured Adrian Newey to Silverstone from Milton Keynes.

Ferrari reveal surprise early launch date for 2025 F1 car

Ferrari has announced it will reveal the first rendered images of its 2025 F1 car on February 18 later this month.

The images will be published on the same day it unveils its new livery at the O2 Arena in London as part of the F1 75 season launch event, which will be attended by every team on the grid.

Leclerc left embarrassed after pre-season ‘damage’

The 2025 F1 is yet to begin but Charles Leclerc has already had his first incident with damage – coming as he attended a studio shoot in preparation for the new campaign! 

By his own admission, it was a result of having too much food over the holidays!
