One fight scrapped, but no misses in Sydney

Official weigh-ins for UFC 312 took place Friday, and you can get all the results here.

The weigh-ins took place at the UFC host hotel in Sydney. The nearby Qudos Bank Arena hosts Saturday’s event (ESPN+ pay-per-view, ESPN2/Disney+, ESPN+).

Among those weighing in were middleweight champion Dricus Du Plessis (22-2 MMA, 8-0 UFC) and ex-champ Sean Strickland (29-6 MMA, 16-6 UFC), who meet in the main event title fight. In the co-main event, two-time women’s strawweight champ Zhang Weili (25-3 MMA, 9-2 UFC) has her latest defense against unbeaten challenger Tatiana Suarez (11-0 MMA, 7-0 UFC).

Just minutes before the official weigh-in session began, the opening bout of the card, HyunSung Park vs. Nyamjargal Tumendemberel. was announced as canceled.
