Aston Martin has announced when its new F1 car will break cover for the first time ahead of the 2025 season getting underway.

The AMR25 will be unveiled on February 23, only a few days after its livery will be seen for the first time as part of F1’s season launch event F175 on February 18.

Following this, the car will get its first track action at the Bahrain International Circuit on 24 February, just two days prior to pre-season testing commencing.

Aston Martin, having finished fifth in the constructors’ standings over the past two campaigns, will hope the new challenger can help it break back into the top four, having seemingly reached that plane in the early days of the 2023 season.

Whilst the Silverstone squad has struggled to develop during the current regulations cycle, Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll found it increasingly difficult to score consistent points last year.

The team confirmed its February 23 launch will take place across its digital channels.
