Oscar Piastri bounced back from his Australia disappointment to dominate F1’s Chinese Grand Prix for a first win of the season.
From pole position, the McLaren driver only briefly lost the lead through the pit-stop periods as he comfortably held of team-mate Lando Norris in the closing stages, as he battled break problems aboard his MCL39.
George Russell completed the podium, with Max Verstappen fourth and Lewis Hamilton in sixth after trying a two-stop strategy.
